• Leadership

      • The school boasts a democratic electoral system which chooses our class representatives and Matric RCL learners annually.

In Grades 8 to 11, class representatives are selected by democratic vote to become leading figureheads for their class.

The Matric Representative Council of Learners are the prestigious elite leaders of PTHS who act as guides and role models to learners in the younger grades, providing them with support and leadership throughout the year.

The RCL are 20 students who are headed by the President and Vice-President with other representatives holding specific portfolios.

Examples of portfolios include: Head of Academics; Head of Discipline; Head of Civil; Head of Electrical; Head of Mechanics; and Head of Peer Support to name but a few.

The selection process starts in Grade 11 with students submitting nominations which are backed by educators and peers.
